About Natural Dyes

Using colour to communicate traditions and symbolize emotions is an intrinsic part our cultural aesthetic. Natural dyes, often described as “living colours”, have their own personality and depth. Unlike chemical dyes, they are biodegradable, nontoxic and nonallergic, free from any harmful chemicals and carcinogenic components. Plant dyes also provide higher UV absorption to the wearer and protects the skin from the sun’s harmful rays.

Unlike the products used in synthetic dyeing, natural dyes produce no toxic waste, instead, the left over bark, flowers and leaves make for great composting materials.

Only textiles from naturally derived fibers & dyes with a combination of food waste, pure plant extracts and mineral dyes are used.

We specialize in meticulously handcrafting artistic prints, made with leaves and flowers. Each print has its own delicate details and imperfections and variations are unique part of the process. Just like the wearer, the colours and shades on our products constantly evolve with time and is a part of the journey.

No two pieces are ever intended to be the same.
